Support Services

To help you and your family manage the challenges of a cancer diagnosis, CHI Saint Joseph Health Cancer Care Center at Flaget Memorial Hospital offers a full range of support services that go far beyond physical healing. These resources are provided at no or low cost, and are available whenever you need them on your journey.

Start right on-site with our comprehensive cancer resource library, featuring free takeaway materials, loaner books, audio/visuals and computers with quick links to helpful resources. You also have access to one-on-one nutritional counseling to help you stay strong and nourished during treatment and a dedicated social worker to connect you to valuable community and hospital resources, including financial assistance.

Our ongoing cancer support groups allow you to share triumphs and challenges with fellow patients and get expert guidance to help you look and feel your best. Our chapel is open all day, every day, along with an onsite chaplain to meet the spiritual needs of you and your loved ones.

To ensure a smooth recovery, we offer personalized cancer rehabilitation, as well as lymphedema therapy and palliative care to help manage any uncomfortable symptoms.

And you’ll always have the support of your own nurse navigator to help coordinate all appointments, answer any questions and provide extra comfort and encouragement, every step of the way.
