Maternal-Fetal Medicine
Maternal-fetal medicine is a subspecialty of obstetrics that focuses on diagnosing, treating and caring for women and unborn babies who are at risk of complications or illness during pregnancy, or who have been diagnosed with a disease or other medical problem.
Comprehensive Approach to Your Health Care
Specialty physicians at the Women's Hospital Saint Joseph East must complete an additional two to three years of fellowship study and training, in addition to their obstetrics degree. Our team is prepared to handle any situation with the best outcomes possible. We will work closely with your regular obstetrician to determine if any problems may exist during your pregnancy.
