In late September, 64-year old Jack Bunch began experiencing abdominal pain and his belly was swelling causing his breathing to become shallow. His symptoms persisted overnight and in the morning a friend took him to the hospital. The doctors found ulcers that had ruptures and had a hole in his intestines. He had emergency abdominal surgery to repair those issues. Following his surgery he was taken to ICU and experienced a heart attack. Dr. Mirza Ahmed with CHI Saint Joseph Medical Group | Cardiology in London was able to place a stent to repairs a large blockage in Jack’s heart. “I was so pleased with Dr. Ahmed. There is no need to go to another doctor anywhere else. There is no need to go out of town. We have the best right here in London. He is just an angel flying too close to the ground,” Jack said. After a stay at the hospital, Jack was able to return home and get back to normal activities. Of his time at Saint Joseph London, Jack said, “I’ve never been treated so good in my life, from nursing all the way up. They treated me so well.
