Multi-skilled Team Approach
Depending on your unique needs, our orthopedic surgeons and specialists will coordinate your care with other experts in neurosurgery, sports medicine, pain management, internal medicine and physical therapy, among others. This allows us to provide the most personalized and effective treatment plan.
Better Precision, Less Incision
Whenever possible, our surgeons use some of the most minimally invasive techniques available for joint replacement and other procedures. That includes options like the direct anterior approach for hip replacement, which allows your surgeon to reach the hip joint from the front, as opposed to the side or back. This way, the hip can be replaced with a single incision, and without disturbing surrounding muscles or tendons.
Immediately following surgery, patients can usually bend their hip freely and bear full weight when comfortable. Other potential benefits include:
- Less pain
- Reduced tissue healing required
- Reduced risk of dislocation, unequal leg length and other complications
- Shorter hospital stay
- Quicker return to the life you love
