Recognize a health care professional who goes above and beyond in service, care and compassion.

The DAISY Award is a nationwide program that rewards and celebrates the extraordinary clinical skill and compassionate care given by nurses everyday. CHI Saint Joseph Health is proud to be a DAISY Award Partner, recognizing one of our nurses at each of our facilities with this special honor every quarter.

Patients and providers are encouraged to nominate a nurse.

Just as the daisy cannot survive without the bee, the nurses cannot survive without the outstanding teamwork provided by other health care professionals. The BEE Award is a nationwide program that honors nursing support staff – patient care assistants, housekeepers, respiratory therapists, health unit coordinators, dietary, transporters and various other team members – who go above and beyond in service, care and compassion. 

The BEE Award celebrates unsung heroes who make an impact outside their daily duties and go above and Beyond Exceptional Expectations (BEE). 

Patients and providers are encouraged to nominate a nursing support staff member.

Our Physician and Advanced Practice Provider (APP) of the Month programs are to recognize those who go above and beyond to serve our patients and community with a spirit of teamwork and compassion. Every month we celebrate one of our physicians and one of our APPs who have been nominated by peers and staff.  Physicians and APPs are eligible if:

• They are on medical staff at either Saint Joseph Hospital or Saint Joseph East.
• Serves as an exemplary model in one or more areas:
  • Shows compassion and concern for patients and staff
  • Displays cooperative attitude toward patients, colleagues and staff
  • Strives for high quality outcomes
  • Provides leadership and support to the organization    

CHI Saint Joseph Health active medical staff only are encouraged to nominate a physician and APP of the month.

*Physician and APP Provider of the Month nominations are only valid for the month that your nomination is submitted. Nominations are due by the 4th Wednesday of each month. Any after will be considered as a nomination for the following month.
