Visitation Hours
Visiting hours are from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Special circumstances may be taken into consideration in the critical care areas for visitation of a child.
Free parking is available for hospital visitors and patients. Please park in the Emergency Department lot only if you’re using the Emergency Department.
Chapel Hours
Our chapel is located on the first floor and is open 24 hours a day. While at Saint Joseph East, you and your loved ones can call upon our hospital chaplain at any time. Ask your nurse to contact the chaplain for you.
Dining Options
Cafeteria – Located on the Ground floor
- Breakfast 6:30 to 9:30 a.m.
- Lunch 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
- Dinner 4 to 7 p.m. Monday – Friday
- Late Night 11 p.m. to 2 a.m. Monday – Friday
A snack bar with several vending machines is open 24 hours a day and offers a variety of snacks, cold sandwiches, fruit, cold beverages and coffee. It is located on the ground floor across from the cafeteria. An ATM is also located here on the ground level next to the cafeteria.
Gift Shop
The gift shop is located on the First floor. Hours of operation are as follows:
- Tuesday, 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
- Wednesday, 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
- Thusday, 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
Language Assistance
We provide trained, qualified medical interpreters at no cost to patients and families in order to ensure effective communication for those who are Limited-English Proficient (LEP), Deaf/Hard of Hearing (HOH), or have other communication challenges.
