Team Registration Open for Flaget Memorial Hospital Foundation’s
Sixth Annual Golf Tournament
Event to benefit Greatest Needs Fund

Bardstown, Ky. (May 2, 2017) --- The Flaget Memorial Hospital Foundation, part of KentuckyOne Health, will host its sixth annual golf tournament on Friday, June 2 at Maywood Bardstown Country Club.

Both foursome and individual registration are now available. Each participant will receive lunch, beverages, green fees, cart and participation in the awards cocktail reception. A silent auction will also be open for bidding prior to the reception.

Corporate sponsorship opportunities ranging from presenting to bronze levels as well as hole and cart sponsorships are available. Corporate sponsors at the bronze level or above will receive one or two foursomes, recognition at the event including hole(s) and participation in the awards ceremony.

The event is expected to raise $40,000 to benefit the Foundation’s Greatest Needs Fund. This fund allows the hospital to purchase essential new medical equipment, hire or train new staff, cover the costs of care for patients who would otherwise be unable to afford treatment and launch critical new programs.  

For example, the Flaget Memorial Hospital Foundation Board recently approved spending part of the Greatest Needs Fund for a new operating room table that will be used for spine-related surgeries.

“We greatly appreciate the support the community has provided us through this event,” said Rick Vancise, executive site lead, Flaget Memorial Hospital. “The golf tournament helps us continue to bring health and wellness to the community we serve. We are looking forward to a great turnout again this year.”
