Saint Joseph Mount Sterling to Focus on Summer Safety
During Walk With a Doc
Dr. Brandy Fouch to lead walk on Saturday, June 18

Mt. Sterling, Ky. (June 7, 2016) — Let’s get moving! It’s time to stay fit and have fun, while having health questions answered by a real, live healthcare provider. Saint Joseph Mount Sterling, part of KentuckyOne Health, will host a Walk With a Doc event on Saturday, June 18 at Easy Walker Park, located at 1395 Osborne Road in Mt. Sterling.

Saint Joseph Mount Sterling Walk With a Doc events are part of a nationwide program that empowers people to improve their health through physical activity while they exercise side-by-side with their health care providers.

This Walk With a Doc will be led by Brandy Fouch, MD, Mt. Sterling Pediatrics, who will focus on summer safety. Topics to be discussed include water and sun safety, wearing insect repellent, and keeping kids safe when they are playing outdoors.

Participants can ask medical questions in an informal setting, receive free health screenings, and take a heart-healthy walk in the park. No registration is required. Participants are encouraged to invite family and friends to walk together toward a healthier lifestyle.

All Walk With a Doc events are free and open to the public and begin at 9 a.m. at Easy Walker Park in Mt. Sterling. Participants who attend three or more events will receive a free tee shirt.
