Saint Joseph London to Host Bite Size Learning Event on Fibromyalgia
Free health education event at Laurel County Public Library

London, Ky. (August 31, 2015)— Saint Joseph London, part of KentuckyOne Health, invites the community to learn more about fibromyalgia at the Bite Size Learning health education event on Wednesday, September 16, 2015 from noon to 1 p.m. at the Laurel County Public Library.

Ashu Joshi, MD, an internal medicine physician with KentuckyOne Health Primary Care Associates in London, will be the featured guest speaker at the program, which is part of the yearlong educational series sponsored by Saint Joseph London.

Dr. Joshi will discuss common signs, symptoms and treatments of fibromyalgia, a condition that causes chronic and widespread pain in the musculoskeletal system. A question and answer period will be included in the event.

Bite Size Learning events occur on the third Wednesday of each month at the Laurel County Public Library, located at 120 College Park Drive in London.  Each month, a physician or staff member from Saint Joseph London hosts a special lunch-and-learn-style presentation on a different health topic to increase awareness and educate the public. Advance registration is requested. Saint Joseph London provides free box lunches to registered attendees.
