Renovation to Improve Patient Comfort and Flow
Project is result of $380,000 gift from Saint Joseph Berea Foundation

Berea, Ky. (June 5, 2017) – KentuckyOne Health Primary Care Associates has completed a renovation to upgrade its waiting room and improve patient comfort and flow, thanks to a $380,000 gift from the Saint Joseph Berea Foundation, part of KentuckyOne Health.

The office, located on the fourth floor of the Medical Office Building at 305 Estill Street, now boasts an improved check-in and check-out area to help get patients in and out of the office more efficiently. The waiting room area has also been renovated, offering patients a welcoming environment.

“As our practice continues to grow, we wanted to take steps to continue offering our patients the most up-to-date facility,” said Eric Gilliam, president, Saint Joseph Berea. “This wouldn’t have been possible without this generous gift from the Saint Joseph Berea Foundation, which will positively impact each and every one of our patients.”

“It can sometimes be a challenge for smaller facilities to fund renovation projects of this magnitude,” said Leslie Buddeke Smart, CRFE, division vice president of development, KentuckyOne Health. “We were thrilled to be able to step in and help make this dream a reality for those working at KentuckyOne Health Primary Care Associates.”

Medical employees currently employed at the practice include Donny Hardy, MD; Derrick Williams, DO; Judy Clark, APRN; and Trina Mattingly, APRN.

To celebrate the unveiling of the new waiting room area, a ribbon-cutting will be held on Tuesday, June 6 at 11:30 a.m.

KentuckyOne Health Primary Care Associates is open Monday-Friday from 8:00 a.m.-4:30 p.m. No appointment is necessary, but patients can reach the facility by calling 859.986.2343.
