14th Annual List
Three KentuckyOne Health facilities make annual list of Kentucky’s best employers
Louisville, Ky. (January 19, 2018) — Our Lady of Peace, Flaget Memorial Hospital, and Medical Center Jewish Southwest, all part of KentuckyOne Health, have earned a place on the 14th Annual Best Places to Work in Kentucky list, which identifies and recognizes Kentucky’s best employers.
For the third year in a row, Our Lady of Peace in Louisville, Ky. was recognized in the large-sized employer category, for businesses with 500 or more employees. A total of 32 companies were selected as winners in this category.
Flaget Memorial Hospital in Bardstown, Ky. was recognized in the medium-sized employer category, for businesses with 150-499 employees. A total of 29 companies were selected as winners in this category statewide.
Medical Center Jewish Southwest in Louisville, Ky. was recognized in the small-sized employer category, for businesses with 15-149 employees. A total of 39 companies were selected as winners in this category.
The Kentucky Chamber of Commerce and the Kentucky Society for Human Resource Management (KYSHRM) host the Best Places to Work initiative. The selection process, managed by Best Companies Group, is based on an assessment of the company’s employee policies and procedures and the results of an internal employee survey.
The Best Places to Work in Kentucky competition is a multi-year initiative designed to motivate companies in the Commonwealth to focus, measure and move their workplace environments toward excellence. Studies show a strong correlation between profitability and creating a good place to work. The initiative is based on FORTUNE magazine’s “100 Best Companies to Work for in America” list.

Our Lady of Peace, part of KentuckyOne Health, is a private, non-profit psychiatric hospital.
