Jay Shah, MD Joins KentuckyOne Health Orthopedic Associates in London
London, Ky. (September 1, 2015) — Jay Shah, MD, MS, has joined KentuckyOne Health Orthopedic Associates located at 160 London Mountain View Drive in London.
A native of Kentucky, Dr. Shah is an orthopedic surgeon with fellowship training in orthopedic sports medicine. During his career he has worked with elite athletes at both the college and professional level. His areas of interest include arthroscopic and open treatment of injuries affecting the knee, shoulder and ankle.
He is experienced in minimally invasive anatomic ACL reconstruction using quadriceps tendon, patellar tendon and hamstring tendon autografts. Other procedures include meniscal repair, rotator cuff tears, ankle fractures and more.
Dr. Shah is a graduate of the University of Kentucky College of Medicine. He completed a residency in orthopedic surgery and sports medicine at the University of Kentucky, followed by a fellowship in sports medicine at Emory University Sports Medicine in Atlanta, Ga. He also holds a master’s degree in chemical engineering.
