Free Breast Cancer Screenings Helping Change Lives
Screenings being offered on Saturday, October 7 to those who qualify

The Jewish Hospital & St. Mary’s Foundation, part of KentuckyOne Health, is helping women in the Louisville community detect and fight breast cancer early-on, by offering free breast cancer screenings.

October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, a time dedicated to raising awareness about the disease, which affects about 1 in 8 women in the United States over the course of their lifetime, according to the National Cancer Institute. Breast cancer is the second leading cause of cancer death in women, but through early detection, breast cancer death rates continue to drop.
