Summer Teen Program

Welcome to the Summer Teen Program. If you are a returning applicant please view the Returning Summer Teen Applicants page for more information on how to submit your application. If you are a first time applicant, please read below for details about the program and application process.

Are you interested in participating in our Summer Teen Program 2024? If so, please read all the information carefully. Then, apply online. The last day for submitting applications is June 2, 2024.

Is there an age requirement to be a teen volunteer?
You must be 14 years old at the start of your selected session.

Where can I volunteer?
You have the opportunity to select the hospital for which you would like to volunteer:

• Saint Joseph Hospital
• Saint Joseph East
• Saint Joseph Mount Sterling
• Saint Joseph London
• Flaget Memorial Hospital

Is there an orientation I have to attend?
Yes. As soon as you submit your application, you will receive an email with instructions for completing the online orientation. Please complete the online orientation prior to your interview.

On your first day of volunteering, the department to which you are assigned will orient you to their area.

Once you have completed your online orientation, please call to set the date for your interview. Teen Summer Program Interviews will start June 2. Just remember, placements are made on a first come, first serve basis. Interviews may be held in groups.
