Saint Joseph Mount Sterling Welcomes First Baby of 2020
Mount Sterling, Ky. (January 3, 2020) – Saint Joseph Mount Sterling welcomed its first baby of 2020 at 10:54 a.m. on Thursday, January 2. Barbara Elizabeth and William Luke Coblentz from Maysville welcomed Jeremiah Alex Coblentz. He weighed 10 lbs. and 2 oz. and was 21½ inches long.
Each year, the hospital staff presents several gifts for the first baby born in the new year.
“Every birth is exciting, but there’s something even more special about the arrival of the first baby of the new year. We always look forward to sharing this wonderful experience with the families,” said Jennifer Chism, MSN, RN, VP of patient care services and chief nursing officer (interim), Saint Joseph Mount Sterling.
Saint Joseph Mount Sterling delivered 269 babies in 2019.
