Saint Joseph Mount Sterling Foundation Golf Tournament an Ace for the Community - Archived
Mount Sterling, Ky. (August 22, 2019) – Saint Joseph Mount Sterling Foundation hosted its 18th Annual Golf Tournament on Friday, July 17. The event raised nearly $22,000 to support the Saint Joseph Mount Sterling Sleep Wellness Center and employee scholarships. The event took place at Indian Creek Golf Course in Mount Sterling.
“We had a remarkable turnout this year and the support we received from the community is so encouraging,” said Leslie Buddeke Smart, CFRE, president, Saint Joseph Mount Sterling Foundation. “This was a great way for people to come together for a fun afternoon, and to help further our commitment to provide the highest quality care for our patients and the community.”
The tournament hosted 28 teams with 112 players, competing for prizes and the winning title. The golf tournament followed a four-person scramble format that was completely full. In addition to their fun day of golf, players enjoyed giveaways at nearly every hole. Activities also included a hole-in-one challenge, longest drive and closest to the pin challenges. The top three finishing teams were also awarded assortments of YETI brand items, while all players were treated to dinner and refreshments after the round.
