Saint Joseph London to Discuss Hospital Services
During Bite Size Learning Event
Free health education event at Laurel County Public Library


London, Ky. (April 9, 2018) – Saint Joseph London, part of KentuckyOne Health, invites the community to learn about different services offered at the hospital, at the free Bite Size Learning health education event on Wednesday, April 18. The event will take place from noon to 1:00 p.m. at the Laurel County Public Library, located at 120 College Park Drive in London.

Thomas Mullins, DO, KentuckyOne Health Hospital Medicine Associates, will be the featured guest speaker at the program. Dr. Mullins will discuss services offered at Saint Joseph London, including a cardiac catheterization program, peripheral stenting, pacemakers/defibrillators, treating post-cardiac arrest hypothermia, upper endoscopy (EGD), colonoscopy, and endoscopic retrograde cholangio-pancreatography (ERCP) – a procedure that enables the physician to examine disease of the liver, bile ducts and pancreas.

Bite Size Learning is an educational series sponsored by Saint Joseph London. Each month, a physician or staff member from Saint Joseph London hosts a special lunch-and-learn-style presentation on a different health topic to increase awareness and educate the public.
