Saint Joseph Jessamine Recognizes Outstanding Medical Staff and Leaders With Awards

NICHOLASVILLE, Ky. (May 13, 2024) Saint Joseph Jessamine has announced its 2024 Employee of the Year and Leader of the Year award recipients. They will be recognized during the CHI Saint Joseph Health Foundations’ Humankindness Gala on Saturday, May 18.

Each year, Saint Joseph Jessamine recognizes an Employee of the Year and Leader of the Year who go above and beyond their duties and demonstrate the health care system’s core values.

Saint Joseph Jessamine’s 2024 Employee of the Year is Erica Houp of Nicholasville, a CT tech.

“Erica shows our core values in every interaction with patients and co-workers,” her nominator said.

Patsy Harlow of Versailles, a lab services supervisor has been named the 2024 Leader of the Year, recognized for her outstanding leadership in a managerial position.

“Patsy is sweet, kind, compassionate, considerate, kindred-spirited, honest, and hard-working,” said her nominator. “She covers all shifts for her employees. She always has a kind word for everyone and offers to help others if they need her. She is an extraordinary leader. She leads by example. She goes above and beyond her call of duty. She displays kindness to everyone.”
