Saint Joseph East Honors Employee with BEE Award

LEXINGTON, Ky. (June 3, 2021) – Saint Joseph East has named its BEE Award winner for the fourth quarter of 2020. Anthony Nguyen, float monitor tech of Lexington, received the BEE Award for exceptional service.

The BEE Award is a nationwide program that honors nursing support staff – patient care assistants, housekeepers, respiratory therapists, health unit coordinators, dietary, transporters and various other team members – who go above and beyond in service, care and compassion. The BEE Award celebrates unsung heroes who make an impact outside their daily duties and go above and Beyond Exceptional Expectations (BEE). In the fourth quarter of 2020, Anthony Nguyen was nominated for the BEE Award by a Saint Joseph East patient.

“Anthony made me feel so comfortable,” said the patient. “He’s an above and beyond caregiver, and always asks, ‘What can I do for you?’ Anthony gave me hope for my healing and hospital discharge. He’s an amazing guy!”                             

The BEE Award winners are recognized with a certificate and a BEE Award pin.
