Saint Joseph Berea Foundation Gala for Healing and Hope Raises Nearly $31,000 - Archived
Berea, Ky. (March 17, 2014)— The Saint Joseph Berea Foundation held its first Gala for Healing and Hope fundraising event on March 1, 2014. The event raised nearly $31,000 to benefit mission and outreach services at Saint Joseph Berea, part of KentuckyOne Health.
A sold-out crowd of 185 attended the event at the Historic Boone Tavern. The evening’s events included a reception, showing of the University of Kentucky basketball game, dinner and dancing to the music of Klassyc Tymes.
“We are grateful to our supporters who came out to celebrate and help us raise funds that will improve the health of our community,” said Charlie Hoffman, Chair of the Saint Joseph Berea Foundation.
The 2nd Annual Gala for Healing and Hope is planned for March 7, 2015.
The mission of the Saint Joseph Berea Foundation is to enhance the health care services provided by Saint Joseph Berea by raising and allocating funds for innovative programs and projects that enrich the health of patients, families and the community.
