Saint Joseph Berea Announces Inaugural Festival of Trees Fundraiser

BEREA, Ky. (Dec. 5, 2023) – Saint Joseph Berea is getting into the Christmas spirit with an inaugural Festival of Trees fundraiser. Twenty departments within the hospital are each sponsoring a uniquely decorated six-foot, LED pre-lit Christmas tree. Those interested in participating in a drawing for each tree will have the opportunity to purchase a ticket through Dec. 15 for a chance to win the tree of their choice.

For a chance to win in this Festival of Trees, purchase tickets at Saint Joseph Berea’s gift shop, guest services area or in the administration office. Tickets are $1 each or $5 for six tickets and will be available for purchase until Friday, Dec. 15. The winner of each tree will be drawn and contacted on Monday, Dec. 18. Winners must pick up their tree no later than Friday, Dec. 22.

“In the spirit of the giving season, we are proud to launch our Festival of Trees fundraiser,” said John Yanes, president, Saint Joseph Berea. “Our caregivers are teaming up by department to spread holiday cheer within the hospital and humankindness throughout our community in this fun and festive event.”

All funds raised from the Festival of Trees will benefit the Patient Assistance Program through the Saint Joseph Berea Foundation, which supports programs and services at Saint Joseph Berea and other CHI Saint Joseph Health clinics and facilities in the surrounding area.
