Nurse Practitioner Joins CHI Saint Joseph Medical Group – Primary Care in Mount Sterling

MOUNT STERLING, Ky. (Aug. 9, 2024) – Jennifer Schadle, MSN, APRN, FNP-C, of Morehead, Kentucky, has joined CHI Saint Joseph Medical Group – Primary Care in Mount Sterling. With more than 12 years of experience, Schadle is a family nurse practitioner who is passionate about serving rural communities, including Mount Sterling and Morehead.

“Since I was a child, I knew I wanted to pursue family medicine,” said Schadle. “I enjoy caring for entire families, watching them grow and building lasting relationships. These connections are important for establishing mutual trust between myself and my patients for the benefit of their overall health.”

Schadle’s approach to patient care is grounded in preventive maintenance. “If something is wrong, I don’t want to just treat the symptoms; I want to understand why they are happening,” said Schadle. “My goal is to provide the best care possible to my patients to keep them well, including ensuring they receive preventive screenings and practice healthy habits.”

Originally from Pikeville, Kentucky, Schadle has lived in Morehead since 2006, when she started her higher education journey at Morehead State University. Schadle earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Morehead State University and completed the Rural Health Family Nurse Practitioner Program at Eastern Kentucky University. Earlier in her career, Schadle served as a registered nurse at Saint Joseph Mount Sterling and said she’s looking forward to returning to the health care system. “I feel like I’m taking care of the people in my community.”

In her free time, Schadle enjoys traveling, spending time outdoors with her husband, two children and dog, trying new foods, and reading.
