Jennifer Nolan Named President of Saint Joseph Mount Sterling - Archived
Mount Sterling, Ky. (July 2, 2019) — CHI Saint Joseph Health CEO Bruce Tassin announced today that Jennifer Nolan has been named president of Saint Joseph Mount Sterling. Nolan is also the president of Flaget Memorial Hospital, which she has led since September 2017. Nolan will work with the leadership team led by Cinda Fluke, M.Ed., BSN, RN, NEA-bc, vice president, Hospital Operations, Saint Joseph Mount Sterling.
“Jennifer is a proven leader and brings a wealth of experience and a history of success to the leadership at Saint Joseph Mount Sterling,” Tassin said. “Under her leadership, both Flaget Memorial Hospital and Our Lady of Peace have been recognized among the Best Places to Work in Kentucky multiple times. We’re pleased to introduce her to the Mount Sterling community.”
Nolan came to Kentucky in 2011 as president of Our Lady of Peace; she will be leaving her role at the private, non-profit psychiatric hospital in Louisville at the end of August. Nolan also previously served as president of Sts. Mary & Elizabeth Hospital, and in roles of chief executive officer and chief operating officer for leading health systems ranging in size from 100 to 295 beds throughout the South. She started her career as a mental health technician at an acute care hospital.
Nolan is active in the community as a member of the Bardstown Rotary Club, Bardstown-Nelson County Chamber of Commerce board of directors and the board of directors for Nazareth Villages. She also serves on the American Hospital Association Metro Governing Council. She is a graduate of the Leadership Louisville Class of 2013 and is a member of the Leadership Kentucky Class of 2019. Nolan was recognized as one of Louisville Business First’s 2018 “20 People to Know in Healthcare.” She plans to also be involved in the Mount Sterling community.
