Flaget Memorial Hospital Foundation’s 8th Annual Golf Tournament Was a Hole-in-One for Project Hope - Archived

Bardstown, Ky. (July 3, 2019) – Flaget Memorial Hospital Foundation raised nearly $35,000 in charitable donations at its 8th Annual Golf Tournament on Friday, June 7. These funds will be used to support Project Hope, the Foundation’s initiative to expand the cancer center at Flaget Memorial Hospital. The tournament took place at the Bardstown Country Club Maywood Course.

“We’re so grateful to all of the participants and sponsors for the wonderful turnout this year,” said Leslie Buddeke Smart, CFRE, president, CHI Saint Joseph Health Foundations. “With their support, we were able to continue the great fundraising momentum that we’ve built around Project Hope, our initiative to fill a critical community need by expanding the cancer center at Flaget Memorial Hospital.”
The 2019 golf tournament hosted 22 teams competing for the winning title. In addition to a fun day of golf, players enjoyed giveaways, games, prizes and a cocktail reception.
