Flaget Memorial Hospital Foundation Golf Scramble Set for June 27 - Archived
Bardstown, Ky. (April 2, 2014) --- The Flaget Memorial Hospital Foundation will host its third annual golf scramble on Friday, June 27 at Bardstown Country Club at Maywood. Both corporate and individual registrations are now available for the event.
The annual tournament has seen tremendous growth over the years and last year raised more than $33,000 to support mission and outreach programs at Flaget Memorial Hospital. Philanthropic partnerships with the community allow the hospital to continue its mission of providing the finest healthcare and most advanced technology available.
Funding raised by the Flaget Memorial Hospital Foundation has supported patient programs and updated technology such as the prescription assistance program and the purchase of a new 80-slice CT scan for the hospital.
“The community provides tremendous support for this event, and in turn, the event helps to bring health and wellness to local patients and families,” said Sue Downs, president, Flaget Memorial Hospital. “We are expecting a great turnout for this year’s event. All the proceeds will be directed toward health initiatives in our community.”
Registration and lunch begins at 11:30 a.m. Golf will start with a shotgun start at 12:30 p.m. For sponsorship information or to register for the event, please contact Heidi Wilhelm at 502.350.5058.
