Dr. Yousef Darrat Joins CHI Saint Joseph Medical Group – Cardiology in Bardstown - Archived

Bardstown, Ky. (May 15, 2019) – Yousef Darrat, MD, has joined CHI Saint Joseph Medical Group – Cardiology in Bardstown. Dr. Darrat specializes in pacemaker and defibrillation implants, and has a special interest in treating patients with atrial fibrillation and cardiac arrhythmias.

Dr. Darrat completed his residency in internal medicine and was the chief resident at Marshall University. He earned a fellowship in cardiac electrophysiology at the University of Kentucky, as well as a fellowship in cardiovascular medicine from Marshall University. He is board certified and specializes in internal medicine, cardiovascular medicine and clinical cardiac electrophysiology.

He provides services for coronary artery disease, atrial fibrillation, arrhythmia, congestive heart failure and hypertension. His special interests include electrocardiogram (EKG), echocardiogram, stress tests, pacemakers and implantable defibrillator management, and external electrical cardioversion.
