Dr. Amy Kim joins KentuckyOne Health Primary Care Associates
Louisville, KY (Aug. 26, 2014) –Amy Kim, M.D., has joined KentuckyOne Health Medical Group. She will be practicing at KentuckyOne Health Primary Care Associates, located at 9520 Ormsby Station Road in Louisville.
She graduated with a bachelor of science degree in biology from Butler University in Indianapolis, Indiana; attended medical school at the Wright State University Boonshoft School of Medicine in Dayton, Ohio; and completed a family medicine residency at the University of Louisville.
Dr. Kim is board-certified in family medicine.
Kim has received a number of awards, including the AAFP/Bristol Myers Squibb Award for Excellence in Graduate Medical Education; the Gold Humanism and Excellence in Teaching Award for 2014; the Paul C. Grider Award for the Outstanding
Resident of the Year for 2014; the Chief Resident for the 2013-2014 academic year; and the University of Louisville Family Medicine Intern of the year for 2012. She is currently a member of the Kentucky Academy of Family Physicians and the American Academy of Family Physicians.
Her community service and medical mission work includes doing an Indian Health Services rotation at Whiteriver PHS Indian Hospital; traveling to Jamaica and the Amazon rain forest twice for a two-week medical mission trip; and serving as a resident mentor for medical students.
The physician’s hobbies include watching college football and basketball, gardening, and spending time with family and friends.
