Deborah Ballard, M.D. to Join KentuckyOne Health Healthy Lifestyle Center

 

Louisville, Ky. (May 19, 2014)— KentuckyOne Health is pleased to announce that Deborah Ann Ballard, M.D., M.P.H., has joined the Louisville market team as an integrative medicine physician at KentuckyOne Health’s new Healthy Lifestyle Centers.

Dr. Ballard is a board certified internist whose 22 years in medicine spans primary care, endocrinology, clinical research and prevention and wellness.   

 

Dr. Ballard received her medical degree from the University of Louisville and completed her residency in internal medicine there. Additionally, she received her master of public health degree from the University of Kentucky.

 

Dr. Ballard is board certified by the American Board of Integrative Holistic Medicine.  She is a certified Tai Chi for arthritis instructor. Tai chi is known to reduce stress, in addition to many other health benefits.

primary care practice affiliated with Flaget Memorial Hospital in Bardstown, part of KentuckyOne Health. In her new role, she is providing integrative medicine consultations and focusing on prevention and wellness initiatives across KentuckyOne Health and its service area. 

 

In addition to rehab services, the Healthy Lifestyle Centers will offer integrated medicine services including Massage therapy, meditation, acupuncture, yoga, chronic muscle pain therapy and more.
