LEXINGTON, Ky. (July 26, 2023) – Carpal tunnel syndrome or trigger finger pain are common disorders that can greatly affect people, leaving them with pain and discomfort in the hand and wrist, numbness, tingling, and burning or locking of the thumb or fingers. New minimally invasive procedures can help relieve this type of pain without surgery.
Frank Taddeo, MD, CHI Saint Joseph Medical Group – Orthopedics, will discuss options for people facing this type of pain during a free seminar from 1-2 p.m. on Friday, August 4, in the Keeneland Education Center on the fourth floor of Building D, Saint Joseph Office Park, 1451 Harrodsburg Road. Dr. Taddeo performs these new minimally invasive procedures at the CHI Saint Joseph Health – Outpatient Surgery Center, located in the same building.
Dr. Taddeo specializes in these non-surgical procedures, helping patients find lasting relief from pain and regain their quality of life. He will provide valuable insights into the latest ultrasound-guided techniques for carpal tunnel syndrome and trigger finger release.
Unlike traditional surgical approaches, the minimally invasive interventions offered at CHI Saint Joseph Health take approximately 15 minutes to complete, providing patients with a quicker recovery time. Most individuals can return to work within the first week following the procedure.
