CHI Saint Joseph Health Foundations Announces Silent Auction for ‘Evening of Hope’

LEXINGTON, Ky. (June 6, 2022) – The CHI Saint Joseph Health Foundations’ “Evening of Hope” virtual silent auction will go live on Thursday, June 9, at 6 p.m. with 180 individual items valued at more than $65,000, and close on Saturday, June 18, at 9:30 p.m. The auction is part of “Evening of Hope,” a fundraising event to benefit cancer patients and their families.

During the June 18 Evening of Hope, Kentuckians across the state will host dinner party fundraisers, a mission moment and inspiring stories of hope. The virtual silent auction plays a significant role in the event to raise funds for local cancer patients and their families. In 2021, the event raised more than $360,000.

“The hosts and those who participate in our silent auction help us make a significant difference in the lives of our cancer patients and their families,” said Leslie Smart, president, CHI Saint Joseph Health Foundations. “Support for Evening of Hope will directly benefit patients being treated for cancer across all the CHI Saint Joseph Health facilities.”

Evening of Hope auction items include weeklong vacations in the South of France, Cabo San Lucas and St. Pete Beach in Florida, 2022-23 season tickets for Kentucky men’s basketball, a one-year membership to the Lexington Tennis Club, a tour at Lux Row Distillery, the Ultimate Maker’s Mark Experience donated by Maker's Mark, box seats for six at Keeneland’s 2022 Fall meet and a tour of Runnymeade Farm donated by Brutus Clay and Runnymeade Farm, wine baskets, specialty bourbon baskets, and a War Front halter owned by legendary stallion Danzig, a handmade VAHAN Jewelry sterling silver and 14-karat yellow gold bracelet set, and a 50-inch LG television, among others.
