CHI Saint Joseph Health Cancels 5th Annual Diabetes and Nutrition Expo
LEXINGTON, Ky. (March 11, 2020) – Today, CHI Saint Joseph Health announced that its upcoming fifth annual Diabetes and Nutrition Expo, which was originally scheduled for this Saturday, March 14, from 8 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., has been canceled. The decision was based on recommendations from the governor’s office about large events with regard to concerns about novel-coronavirus (COVID-19). CHI Saint Joseph Health leadership made this proactive decision out of an abundance of caution for what has now been classified as a global pandemic. The health of the community is a top priority for the health care system, which is closely monitoring all developments surrounding COVID-19.
