LMU Recruiters to Share Information about Nursing Program in Lexington

LEXINGTON, Ky. (Jan. 29, 2024) ─ Recruiters from Lincoln Memorial University will be on site at Saint Joseph Hospital this week to share more information about the accelerated Bachelor of Science in Nursing program, which will be offered in Lexington starting this fall.

Recruiters Ethan Fultz and Sherry Pearman will share information about the program in the hospital lobby from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 30, and from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 31.

The LMU-Caylor School of Nursing will bring one of its proven nursing programs to Lexington, offering classes in space in the Saint Joseph Office Park, across Harrodsburg Road from the hospital.  The University has leased space and will soon start renovations in the office space, which is being converted to classrooms, skills laboratories and simulation rooms for the didactic portions of the curriculum. Hands-on clinical experiences will take place in conjunction with health care partners including CHI Saint Joseph Health and others.

LMU received Kentucky Board of Nursing approval to move forward with the site at Saint Joseph Hospital in Lexington. Pending further accreditation, LMU plans to enroll students in its Bachelor of Science in Nursing program beginning in August 2024.
