LEXINGTON, Ky. (Oct. 27, 2021) – Continuing Care Hospital has been named a recipient of the 2021 Kentucky Hospital Association (KHA) Quality Award for the sixth year in a row. The facility was recognized for its commitment to patient safety on Tuesday, Oct. 26, at the KHA Town Hall, where the KHA Quality Team honored and recognized its statewide award winners.

The KHA Quality Awards recognize hospital leadership and innovation in quality, safety and commitment to patient care. Continuing Care Hospital has received a Quality Award for achievement in “A Safe Patient Environment: A Culture of Safety.”

“We are proud to receive this recognition from the Kentucky Hospital Association for the sixth year in a row,” said Robert Desotelle, president, Continuing Care Hospital. “Patient safety is our top priority, and our staff continually looks for ways to promote a culture of safety. We believe transparency is crucial to the overall success of patient safety and everyone plays a part in this effort – from the leadership team to bedside staff. We are honored to earn this award that further proves our commitment to patient safety.”
